Ken has over thirty years of experience in the computer and telecommunications industries and academia, holding advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. He has taught over twenty-five different courses in telecommunications, computing, systems and business and his work resulted in several inventions and patents. Read More »


Brown-smallWe are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew J. Brown as its Executive Director. A native of Pittsburgh, Brown is the third individual to assume the position since the Coalition’s founding in 2005. Brown recently held the post of Director of Protection Services, US Operations for United States Steel. In a previous position he served as the company’s Manager of Fire Protection Services for its North American operations, and was responsible for domestic security, fire protection and emergency response. About the Coalition

The Pittsburgh Regional Business Coalition for Homeland Security (PRBCHS) was formed on January 1, 2005 following encouragement by the Department of Homeland Security, and the foresight of a founding group of businesses, universities and organizations in the Pittsburgh region.
